Presenting the first edition of your Stewartstown Community
Bulletin!
Why publish a Stewartstown community bulletin?
We believe that our community has grown to the point where the
citizens will embrace a publication dealing exclusively with Stewartstown area subject
matter. It also occurred to us that there is no better way for us and the other residents
of the community to get to know one another.
What is the theme of this publication?
The overall theme of this bulletin is positive news about the
history, people, churches, schools, businesses and organizations in our community.
Consequently, police crime reports and similar "negative" news will not be
reported herein. Along with you, we hope to promote the "good" in our community.
What are the different formats of the publication?
For those who enjoy catching up on their news in the comfort of
their favorite easy chair, we provide the printed format.
For those who prefer the hi-tech approach, we provide the same
information here on our web site communitybulletin.com. Each edition of this
publication will be archived on this web site for future reference. In addition,
supplemental information on our advertisers can be found here on the web site.
What is the role of our advertisers?
Quite simply, the advertisers make the production of this bulletin
possible. As you continue to visit our web site month in and month out, you will see that
we are expanding our database of local non-profit organizations. We have offered to post
information about area non-profits to our web site at no cost. The information we provide
on churches, schools, and other non-profit organizations is made possible by our paid
advertisers. If you enjoy this publication, please remember to patronize our advertisers.
They make it all possible.
What is your role in this publication?
We sincerely hope that as the months go by you will embrace this,
your Stewartstown Community Bulletin.
Our goal is to help foster a strong sense of community by
accentuating the positive. We do not consider this to be "our" publication. We
consider it to be "yours" and only through your support and active participation
can we achieve our goal. Please feel free to call us, write us, or stop us on the street
to share what you consider to be positive news about our community.
Have a happy, healthy and prosperous new year!!
