Senior Center Needs Administrative Asst.

Immediate part-time position available at the Stewartstown Area Senior Community Center. Duties include supervising community transit and meal programs, maintaining Center reports, assisting with fundraising and Center activities, producing the Center's monthly newsletter, and general office and clerical responsibilities. Ideal candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills, be computer literate, and have the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines. Good rapport with the senior population a must. Hours are 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM Monday through Friday. Ladies Golf League

It’s not too late to join the Ladies’ Golf League at Pleasant Valley Golf Club every Thursday evening, tee off time is 5:30 PM. For more information call Barbara Long at (717) 428-3256

 

Garden Club

There has been some interest in forming a garden club in the Stewartstown area. If anyone is intested please call Pat Sweetman at 235-2823. The meeting will be at 7 PM on May 12 at her home. If there is enough interest to begin a club, a member of and board member of the newly formed Monkton Garden club will be there to help get us started in the right direction.
